For a South Florida wedding photographer, rain, is a four letter word. Really! Just look at it (it’s four letters).
Luckily for Brooke and Tommy, their wedding was held at one of South Florida’s premiere venues, The Boca Beach Club, in sunny Boca Raton, Florida. Well, maybe not sunny on this particular weekend.
In what is usually a beautiful time of year, it just so happened that on this weekend, we had a washout. Ok, Monday through Thursday, let it rain anytime. But, please, can’t we keep to that schedule. Can anyone help control this? I’ll pay extra!
None the less, this fantastic couple chose just the right place. The Boca Raton Resort & Club is truly the ultimate Hotel for any South Florida wedding. Rain or shine. There are so many places to capture shots with great lighting and architecture.
So normally, where a couple would be bummed out about a rainy wedding day;
Rain brings water to dry places, and causes crops to flourish, so it is often viewed as being a blessing and bringing good luck. With that in mind, it is often believed that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck!
Brooke & Tommy were not. They were just excited to be getting married. You can easily see from them both, that they were there to celebrate their love for each other and enjoy the special day with their family and friends.
After photos around the grounds, they tied the knot inside a beautifully decorated room, by Panache Style. The chupa was spectacular and incredible to photograph, with flawless up-lighting to accent the area.
The Boca Beach Club offers a covered patio that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Come rain or shine, you’ve got the amazing view. With Hor Devours and cocktails, the guests enjoyed the live sounds of Emagination Creative Group, Chris Cruz of Y100.
When it comes to the most prodigious ambiance, The Boca Beach Club has it all, with electronically controlled ceiling and room lighting, breathtaking lighting fixtures and high ceilings. Needless to say the room was out of a fairy tale.
Chris Cruz even wrapped the dance floor in white, including the bride and groom’s initials. What a fabulous touch!
Emagination Creative Group played a mix of DJ and live music throughout the night and Chris kept them on the dance floor all night long. Only to stop when dinner was served (which was beyond mouth watering).
All in all, what could have been a difficult occasion, turned out to be flawless due to the amazing team and efforts of South Florida wedding Industry professionals, like Bobby Keiser of Panache Style, Chris Cruz of Emagination Creative Group and Y100 DJ, Jillian Stevens (the wedding coordinator) for The Boca Raton Resort & Club and yours truly.
And nothing topped the night better, than the mother of our bride thanking us professionals at the end of the reception!
